This is a personal project that tackles subjects such as loneliness, isolation, and learning the ability to thrive on your own. Through the use of lyrics, fast-paced editing and cinematic symbolism, I visually explore the mental space of the 'silent struggle.'
Inspired by the modern day mental health crisis surrounding younger generations, the objective of this video is to open up discussions around the internal struggles that people go through alone. By opening up about my experiences with such things in a visually appealing and relatable way, I hope to inspire others to do the same.

As like any person living on this earth, I too have landed on hard times at various points in my life. Often it is in these times that we need reminders of who we are, what we're fighting for and why we're doing it. Without a guiding light in our life, it's hard to escape that lost phase.
This song for me is that guiding light. A reminder of my own worth and that all worthwhile things in life take time. It's a reminder that falling in life is part of the process, and instead of resenting our current situations, we must hold that vision of a greater future close to our hearts and do whatever we can to get closer to it. That is the idea I try to embody in this music video. I hope that this project can serve as inspiration for others as it has done for myself.

Libertalia Process Video

An announcement video for my personal clothing brand: Libertalia
This is a video demonstrating my step by step process when it comes to ideating, sketching and creating each of the garments that Libertalia will sell.
The first part of the process includes the ideation stage where I take to my sketchbook to establish the visual style and structuring of the design. After, these sketches are finalized through pen and traced onto the garment using Fabric Markers. Some garments also include sewing. This demonstrates the hand-made personal quality that Libertalia brings to the market. Each garment is made with personal labor and love.
The video shoot itself was directed and storyboarded to include planned shots that included both energetic movement and an ambient slowing down of the clips in pace with the music. The music choice of a ramping Spanish guitar melody was on brand with Libertalia's vision. Using adjustment layers, visual FX and video transitions, I was able to lend the video a sense of time moving forward and ramping up towards the finished product on display.
Libertalia Custom Shoes Reel

A Short Instagram reel showing the process of creating some custom made shoes in line with Libertalia's style as well as a show of the final product in action.
For this project I started with the foundation of the song "When I grow up" by NF. The songs theme includes that of building yourself up, believing in your inherent ability to accomplish what your mind sets out to do as well as fighting the doubt that may come externally or internally. I used a specific section of the song which begins slow, methodical, contemplative and then quickly ramps up into an explosion of energy with the drop while transitioning into a more intense flow afterwards.
Working with the beat of the song, I was able to match up the cuts to the music to maintain that sense of build up. To convey the dramatic energy shift within the video for when the shoes are put on, I used various video editing techniques such as zoom blur, adjustment layer opacity changes and glitch transition packs. For the camera equipment itself, I used my personal Sony ZVE-10 for filming in a 9:16 aspect ratio for Instagram Reels.
Overall, the video accentuates the 'aura' change that comes with wearing a hand-crafted Libertalia product. You may well obtain that same aura should you choose wisely to invest .

My first travel vlog I recorded along with a group of friends of mine.
In this video, I try to do things a little different from what you would expect from any ordinary travel vlog.
My objective for this vlog was to try capture the feeling of adventure in a way that was reminiscent of a fantasy video game. The game "Skyrim" served as a good foundation for the editing style used.
Through the use of various segments that each capture their own unique feel, I focused more on the personal journey of our gang as we navigate through the terrain rather than the scenery itself. This vlog is more about friendship, improvisation, authenticity, overcoming adversity, bad jokes and meeting unexpected companions rather than the location itself.
In todays Quest, the boyz embark on an adventure to explore the fabled LUDS CHURCH Ravine... Will they make it in one piece, or will they succumb to the obstacles along the way?!?!?
